Transworld Wellness

Transworld Wellness is an organization focused on improving the health and well-being of seafarers. It recognizes that maritime work is physically demanding and can also place significant strain on mental and emotional health, particularly when crew members spend months away from family, friends, and familiar surroundings. The organization aims to give seafarers the care and support it believes they deserve, acknowledging their contribution to global trade, commerce, and everyday life.

Transworld Wellness provides evidence-based physical and mental health solutions designed to enhance seafarers’ wellness. Its approach is guided by the experiences and perspectives of seafarers themselves: the organization uses surveys and interviews to understand their needs and shape appropriate solutions. It also shares information about its services and research through its website, with sections covering its evidence base, a newsletter, and contact options. Transworld Wellness emphasizes confidentiality, stating that information shared with it will be stored securely and not shared.
