E. Coalition of Transylvania County is a dedicated organization founded in 2010 to combat prescription drug abuse among youth. With funding from the federal Office of the National Drug Control Policy, the coalition has expanded its focus to include underage drinking and emerging drug issues.

Committed to creating a healthy and substance-free environment, the vision of the CARE Coalition is to see a vibrant Transylvania County free of substance abuse. Through collaboration and coordination, the coalition works towards reducing substance abuse and underage drinking in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The coalition comprises representatives from various sectors including youth, parents, businesses, law enforcement, healthcare, and more, all working together to achieve this mission.
