About Checkpoint
Checkpoint Games Center is a games retailer and gaming club based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It serves players of board games, wargames and card games through an online store and a physical play space, bringing products and community gaming together. Its catalogue includes strategy, family, party, mystery and two-player board games, as well as role-playing games and miniatures.
Trading card players can shop for Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, Digimon and Flesh and Blood, while miniature wargaming selections include Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, BattleTech and Star Wars: Legion. The store also sells gaming accessories such as sleeves, playmats, deck boxes, card albums, dice, paints and miniature-painting supplies. Checkpoint offers new releases, restocked products, promotions and preorders, including Games Workshop orders.
Customers who cannot find a particular game are invited to contact the store, which will try to source it from distributors. The gaming space also hosts events, with opening hours throughout the week and on weekends
