About Trapinator
Introducing Trapinator, a brand dedicated to providing humane and effective traps for pest control. Owned by Cmi Ltd and manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand, Trapinator was developed in collaboration with the Department of Conservation New Zealand to create innovative traps that adhere to humane standards. Prior to the creation of Trapinator, existing traps had failed to meet these standards.
However, through the combined efforts of Darren Peters, Phil Waddington, and Ross Mitchell, the brand successfully designed traps that target pests such as Possums, Rats, Stoats, Weasels, Ferrets, Hedgehogs, and Mongoose. Not stopping at trap development, Trapinator also offers the Mustelid tunnel, a lightweight and durable housing solution that has received positive feedback from users.
