„Trauern braucht Zeit“

Detlef Eberhard is an independent grief-support and counselling practice based in Berlin Kreuzberg, offering compassionate guidance to people navigating life after a loss. Guided by the principle “Grieving takes time,” the practice recognises that grief is individual and can involve many emotions, including pain, anger, fear, guilt, confusion and disorientation. Its approach is grounded in acceptance, respect and a trusting relationship, helping clients understand and make room for their feelings, draw on personal strengths, find relief and gradually identify new ways forward.

Services include individual, couples and group support; guidance for people grieving the loss of a child; support focused on men’s grief; advice on how to support someone who is grieving; and counselling around grief in the workplace. Eberhard also offers talks, training, conflict resolution for relatives of dying people and bereaved families, and guided grief walks. Sessions are available in person, online or by phone. He is a trained grief companion, counsellor and mediator, and also works with a bereavement counselling service while volunteering in hospice and emergency pastoral care.
