Trausch Fine Arts

Trausch Fine Arts is the art studio and business of married career artists Gale and Thomas Trausch. The couple create original paintings and drawings and teach art to children and adults. Thomas also leads workshops locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, with classes, schedules and demonstrations featured through the studio’s website and events.

The gallery showcases a broad range of work, particularly watercolors, alongside oil paintings, pen-and-ink pieces, pencil drawings and prints. Subjects include gardens, landscapes, city and coastal scenes, still lifes, animals and portraits. Selected works are available as originals, commissions or giclée prints; some pieces are marked sold, and visitors are encouraged to call about availability. The studio also offers gift certificates and presents artwork through exhibitions, demonstrations and special events. Its portfolio includes work recognized with honorable mentions at art shows, as well as commissioned paintings and a giclée series installed in a corporate setting. Based in Woodstock, Illinois, Trausch Fine Arts is open by appointment and during special events, offering opportunities to view the artists’ work, attend instruction or inquire about commissions and purchases.
