About Traveller Declaration
New Zealand Traveller Declaration is a system designed to collect travel, customs, immigration, and biosecurity information to enhance the safety and security of New Zealand. This system replaces the traditional Passenger Arrival Card and is mandatory for all travelers entering the country. You can conveniently complete your declaration online or through the NZTD app, starting 24 hours before your journey by air or sea.
Upon submission, you will receive relevant information on entering New Zealand via email, eliminating the need for printed documents. The New Zealand Customs Service, in collaboration with other government agencies, manages the NZTD to ensure a smooth entry process for visitors while safeguarding the nation's people and land. By adhering to the NZTD requirements, you contribute to preserving our precious taonga – our home.
