Originating from a project by Patrick Brosi and hosted by the University of Freiburg, TRAVIC empowers users to explore various forms of transportation, including trams, subways, rail, buses, and ferries. The platform prioritizes user engagement by enabling interactive features such as zooming in on specific vehicles and accessing individual transport agency license details. TRAVIC reinforces transparency by linking to publishers’ websites for data terms and conditions.
