Travis Ivey

Travis Ivey Fine Art presents the work of artist Travis Ivey, whose practice spans abstract painting, collage, and landscapes of the American West. Ivey is currently developing two distinct bodies of work. One responds to a sense of chaos in contemporary life: these paintings depart from his usual approaches to composition and color, relying instead on intuition and the subconscious to guide each piece.

The other explores western landscapes through the lens of pastoral traditions, with attention to human ecology, environmental presence, and people’s relationship with expansive natural spaces. Together, the works consider both inner emotional experience and the physical environments people inhabit. The site features landscape, collage, and non-objective painting, as well as oil paintings and studies made en plein air, environmental realism, and art of the American West.

Travis Ivey Fine Art offers viewers an opportunity to explore these varied approaches, from expressive, non-objective compositions to landscape paintings grounded in the character and ecology of western places
