Travis James is an Australian author based in Brisbane, whose work is shaped by a family tradition of storytelling and a close eye for everyday life. His great-grandfather, a city librarian, read Charles Dickens aloud to the family; his grandfather shared “Green Man stories,” and his father entertained them with comic skits. Inspired by this heritage, James has spent decades developing his skills as a novelist and bringing the lives of Australians into his narratives.

The author’s website introduces readers to Travis and provides a place to explore and shop for his books.
