TRAX Off-Grid is a veteran-owned expedition vehicle builder based in La Grange, Kentucky. Drawing on more than 20 years of building experience, the company is developing a new generation of luxury expedition vehicles and custom overlanders designed for travel beyond established roads and infrastructure. Its approach treats the truck, living habitat, and off-grid systems as one connected vehicle rather than separate components added together.
TRAX’s planned builds are being designed around commercial-duty foundations, integrated habitat structures, considered weight distribution and storage, and connected energy, water, and climate systems. The interiors are intended to support cooking, resting, working, and four-season living, with communications, monitoring, and essential controls incorporated into the onboard experience. The company also emphasizes serviceability, maintenance access, recovery planning, and practical system design for remote travel.
The full vehicle reveal and final production specifications are still forthcoming. TRAX plans an intentionally limited first run of 10 custom builds, with six spots remaining.
