Treco Biomass Boilers

Treco is a renowned brand that specializes in biomass energy solutions. They offer a wide range of products and services to meet the needs of households, businesses, and other organizations. One of their key offerings is biomass boilers, which utilize biomass fuel to generate heat and electricity.

Treco ensures that the biomass fuel used meets strict environmental standards, with a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 60% compared to the EU fossil fuel average. They achieve this by adhering to the UK Timber Standard for Heat and Electricity, which sets out land criteria for woodfuel. To help customers source sustainable woodfuel, Treco has created the Biomass Suppliers List (BSL).

This list contains approved suppliers and offers guidance on meeting sustainability criteria. It's recommended that customers start sourcing their woodfuel from the BSL website as soon as possible. Treco caters to both commercial and domestic RHI participants, providing different options for each.

They also offer support for self-suppliers, who can register their own woodfuel with the BSL. In terms of biomass fuel options, Treco offers wood chips, wood pellets, logs, grain, and miscanthus. Each fuel type has its own benefits and considerations, allowing customers to choose the most suitable option for their needs.

Treco stands out in the industry due to their extensive experience and expertise in biomass energy solutions. They provide a comprehensive service, including recertified systems, wholesale supply, and parts and components.
