About Tree Council of Ireland
The Tree Council of Ireland is a non-governmental voluntary organization that serves as an umbrella body for organizations involved in the establishment, management, and conservation of trees in Ireland. Founded in 1985, our mission is to foster a tree culture in Ireland through action and awareness. We aim to educate the public about the nature and value of trees by organizing events and tree-related activities.
As a representative voice for tree culture and promotion, we facilitate networking among our member organizations. Our wide range of initiatives includes National Tree Week, SPAR National Tree Day, and the Supervalu Tidy Towns program. We also offer a Small Business Carbon Offset Program and Tree Sponsorship opportunities.
