Tree to Remember

Tree to Remember helps people create a living tribute to someone who has died. Based in Nuland, North Brabant, the business supplies and plants carefully selected remembrance trees at customers’ homes, mainly in the south of the Netherlands. Trees can be planted in a garden or grown in a suitable pot or balcony planter, so a large garden is not required.

Customers can choose a tree with personal guidance from Bert Jansen Venneboer, a horticulturist and funeral director. He helps consider the available space, the choice of tree and what feels appropriate, and can support the planting ceremony. Where desired, some of the deceased’s ashes can be incorporated safely and in measured amounts using biodegradable ash capsules from Return in Green®. The tree may also be planted without ashes.

Tree to Remember offers a range of trees, along with information and advice on choosing, watering and feeding them. Accessories are available to personalise a memorial tree, and the business also provides options for remembering pets.
