Treffpunkt Segelschule

Treffpunkt Segelschule is a sailing and water-sports school serving Emden, Norden, Ostfriesland and the wider region. Recognised by the German Sailing Association and the Association of German Water-Sports Schools, it draws on more than 40 years of teaching experience and an active involvement in water sports. Its courses are designed for beginners and more experienced participants, combining practical training with the questions and knowledge relevant to examinations.

The school offers preparation for the Sport Boat Licence for coastal waters (See) and inland waters (Binnen), the Sport Coastal Ship Certificate, sailing, radio communication certificates, and the certificate of competence for distress signalling equipment. It also provides winter storage. Courses generally run from October to May at fixed locations in Emden and Norden; groups elsewhere can request instruction and equipment at their own location.

Treffpunkt Segelschule emphasises personal support, flexible arrangements for participants working shifts, and individual lessons when needed. Prices include books, teaching materials and practical components, while examination fees are listed separately. Support is available beyond the exam as well.
