Treindustrien er en bransjeorganisasjon for produsenter av trelast og andre trebaserte byggematerialer. Vi har om lag 115 medlemsbedrifter innen trelastindustri, limtrefabrikker, elementprodusenter, impregneringsverk og produsenter av andre trebaserte bygge- og emballasjeartikler. Medlemsbedriftene er viktige leverandører av halvfabrikata til annen treforbrukende industri og av råvarer til treforedlings-, sponplate- og fiberplateindustrien og produsenter av bioenergi. Vi organiserer vel 90 % av den norske produksjonskapasiteten på området. Bedriftene er lokalisert nær råvaren (skogen) og et flertall utgjør hjørnesteinsbedrifter i sine lokalsamfunn. Treindustrien er tilknyttet Byggenæringens Landsforening og Næringslivets Hovedorganisasjon.

About Treindustrien
Treindustrien is a brand that represents the wood industry in Norway. They are a part of the Norwegian Construction Industry Association (Byggenæringens Landsforening) and are affiliated with the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). Treindustrien's members are involved in the production of various wood products, including lumber, laminated timber, treated wood, building elements, packaging, and semi-finished products for other wood industries.
Additionally, they supply raw materials to wood refining, chipboard and fiberboard manufacturers, and energy producers. Treindustrien focuses on promoting renewable and sustainable green industries, with a strong commitment to environmental conservation. They actively engage in initiatives related to renewable resources and sustainable practices.
From organizing seminars and webinars to discussing market trends and uncertainties, Treindustrien plays a crucial role in the development and advancement of the wood industry in Norway
