**Trekk** is a dedicated not-for-profit organization focused on enhancing emergency care for children across Canada. Established in 2011 under the Government of Canada’s Networks of Centres of Excellence, Trekk addresses critical knowledge gaps in pediatric emergency care. The organization collaborates with healthcare providers, families, and researchers to co-create and disseminate essential resources tailored for various health emergencies, encompassing 40 topics such as asthma, anaphylaxis, and concussion.

Trekk empowers both healthcare professionals and families by providing access to evidence-based tools and resources designed to improve outcomes for acutely ill and injured children. Their impact includes over 198 co-developed resources, extensive training opportunities, and a wealth of educational content available online, including parent videos and downloadable guides. Driven by values of empowerment, collaboration, and cultural safety, Trekk is committed to ensuring that every child receives the highest standard of emergency care, fostering a supportive environment for open dialogue and shared learning.
