Trek Sierra Nevada is a comprehensive guide to hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains of southern Spain and the surrounding region. Created by people who have explored Andalucía since moving to Granada in 2006, the site helps visitors discover mountain routes and plan their time in the area. Its detailed self-guided walk descriptions cover options ranging from short strolls to demanding hikes, searchable by season, duration, location and public transport access, with an interactive map to help find suitable routes.

Visitors can also learn about guided hikes, including outings led by experienced, qualified guides who share knowledge of local geology, wildlife, plants, architecture and communities. The site notes that a guide is essential for safely attempting high peaks such as Mulhacén or Veleta in winter. Beyond hiking, Trek Sierra Nevada offers GPS-triggered audio tours through VoiceMap and information on regional activities, from climbing, via ferrata and canyoning to Granada sightseeing, food, culture and village visits
