**Brand Description: Tren El Insurgente**
Tren El Insurgente is a pioneering transportation project strategically designed to connect the Toluca Metropolitan Area with western Mexico City. Operating under the principles of speed, safety, and affordability, this commuter train service aims to enhance mobility for residents across these vibrant regions. Scheduled operations run from 6:00 AM to 9:15 PM, with consistent service every 15 minutes.
The train consists of eight modern units, accommodating up to 719 passengers with 326 ergonomic seats and designated spaces for wheelchair users. The journey between stations—Zinacantepec, Toluca Centro, Metepec, Lerma, and Santa Fe—takes around 37 minutes. Additionally, fares are structured to ensure cost-effectiveness, with travel priced at 60 pesos from Santa Fe to any Edomex station and only 15 pesos for trips within Edomex.
