Treno Museo Villarosa is a cultural museum and heritage project run by the nonprofit Associazione Culturale Amici del Treno Museo “Primo David.” Based at Villarosa railway station in Enna, Sicily, the association continues the work of founder Primo David, preserving the area’s railway, mining, farming, and migration history.

The museum is displayed inside adapted goods wagons dating from 1943. Its collections include restored furniture, tools, household objects, and equipment used by local farmers and miners. The site also recalls the station’s history, including its role in Sicilian mineral transport and as a point of departure for emigrants.

Visits can extend to the Casa Museo in Villapriolo, reached by shuttle. There, visitors can explore a miner’s home, a late-19th-century farmer’s dwelling, an emigrant’s house, a grain courtyard, an original stable, and a stone nativity scene. The association welcomes visitors on weekends and accepts weekday bookings for groups and school classes. Visits can be arranged by phone or online.
