About Trentadue Winery
Trentadue Winery is a renowned brand that offers a Wine Country Wedding destination in Alexander Valley. With a rich history and deep roots in Sonoma County, the Trentadue family has been contributing to the region's agricultural advancement for generations. In 1959, they purchased 208 acres of land in the remote Alexander Valley to preserve their way of life.
This special piece of property, now home to Trentadue Winery, has a fascinating past, initially established as Heart's Desire Nursery in 1868. Today, the winery grows premium wine grapes, with some vines dating back to 1886, employing sustainable farming practices and balancing the traditions of the area's early Italian growers with evolving viticulture techniques. Winemaker Miro Tcholakov's philosophy is to allow each vintage and variety to express itself without restriction and intervention, aiming to make the best wine possible.
