Triangle Alano Club (TAC) is a North Carolina nonprofit organization providing a safe, comfortable meeting place and social environment for people in recovery and their families. Founded in 2001, the club serves groups associated with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Al-Anon, and Alateen, and focuses exclusively on supporting these fellowships. Its Raleigh location is at 2825 Jones Franklin Road in the Swift Creek Shopping Center.
TAC hosts a varied schedule of meetings throughout the week, including meditation, literature and Big Book discussions, beginners’ sessions, speaker meetings, and gatherings for men, women, young people, and Spanish-speaking participants. The calendar also features club events, including board meetings. In keeping with its group-friendly approach, participating groups contribute a percentage of their collection baskets rather than paying fixed rent, helping new groups establish themselves.
People can support the club through annual or monthly memberships, one-time donations, or contributions by check or cash. Triangle Alano Club’s central purpose is to offer a welcoming community setting where people and families can connect and support recovery.
