Triathlonakademie

Triathlonakademie is a sports coaching and education organisation founded in Heidelberg in 2009 by Katja Schumacher, a former professional triathlete and sports therapist. Its expert team combines knowledge from sport and medicine to help athletes of all abilities, from beginners to professionals, work towards their goals. The academy focuses on efficient technique, injury prevention and individually planned training, with sessions delivered in small groups for close support.

Its services cover running, swimming and triathlon. Athletes can choose from technique analyses, video assessments, seminars, regular courses, individual technique training and coaching. Swimming options include crawl technique courses and open-water swimming, while running programmes include Smart Running. The academy also provides training camps, including spring and Challenge Roth camps, plus tailored training support, advice and planning for training and competition. Special offers are available for companies and clubs.

Triathlonakademie’s approach combines well-managed training loads, refined technique, sport-specific nutrition and mental strength. It draws on experience from professional sport and sports science to guide athletes toward suitable training methods and improved performance.
