About Fundación Tribu
Fundación Tribu is a brand that focuses on innovation for democracy. As an independent foundation, they are not affiliated with any political parties or electoral activities. Their main goal is to explore new models for democracy, promote open government, and drive civic technologies.
The foundation works as a Democracy Laboratory, generating and disseminating cutting-edge knowledge about new democracy models. They also put these concepts and tools into practice to improve the performance of existing institutions and facilitate a gradual transition towards these new models. Fundación Tribu offers various projects and initiatives such as Open Municipalities, which strengthens local open government to transform territories, and LAS Y LOS 400, a deliberative democracy initiative that gathers over 400 randomly selected individuals from all over Chile to deliberate on concrete proposals for country-wide reforms.
