Tricities Female Ice Hockey

The Tri-Cities Female Ice Hockey Association (TCFIHA) is a nonprofit organization formed in 1997 to give female athletes ages 5 to 21 the opportunity to play ice hockey. It serves players living in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra, and is affiliated with Hockey Canada, BC Hockey, and the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association.

TCFIHA supports players and families through team registration, information about fees, and guidance for those new to hockey. Its offerings include camps and development opportunities such as Rust Removal Camps, summer development, and the U11 Pathways Program. The association also promotes introductory experiences through Try Hockey events and PWHL Ready Set Skate, and hosts tournaments, with registration and hotel information available for participants.

Beyond on-ice programs, TCFIHA provides resources for coaches and managers, coaching certification and volunteer information, schedules, forms, and conflict-resolution guidance. It also shares important dates, association news, scholarship recognition, and opportunities to get involved. Through these services, the association works to build players’ skills, confidence, and community.
