Trick or Beat

Trick or Beat is a tactical card game that combines the strategic feel of collectible card games with a complete, ready-to-play set. Instead of buying booster packs or building separate decks, players begin with all 150 cards, including more than 50 different designs, and draw from a shared deck. The game is designed for two or more players, takes around 15–30 minutes per round, and is recommended for ages 10 and up.

Each player drafts 15 cards and keeps eight, choosing combinations that support their strategy. Players can win by filling their Trick pile or defeating all opposing creatures. Creatures have both passive and active abilities, while lane positioning adds another layer of tactical decision-making. Trick or Beat is available as a physical card game, with an explanatory video to help players get started, and as a free digital game on Steam. The digital version follows the same rules and includes online multiplayer and an interactive tutorial.
