Andrea Trimsalon De Kattenvriendin

Trimsalon de Kattenvriendin is a specialist cat grooming salon serving Groningen and Drenthe in the Netherlands, with appointments also available at clients’ homes. Run by a qualified cat groomer and animal health adviser, the salon provides skin and coat care for cats of all breeds, including short- and long-haired cats. Its approach is cat-friendly and coat-conscious: treatments use gentle, non-invasive tools and aim to avoid force, reduce stress, and preserve the coat’s natural cycle.

Services include grooming, combing, washing, clipping where appropriate, and removing tangles, alongside guidance on maintaining a cat’s coat and wellbeing. Kittens can also have introductory visits to become familiar with grooming and the salon environment. The business additionally offers cat microchipping, with registration in a database, and shares practical advice through its website on topics such as seasonal coat care, shedding, transport, and kitten care.

Its webshop sells cat- and coat-friendly grooming supplies, as well as a small selection of gifts and memorial pendants for remembering a beloved cat
