Triple Zero Victoria

Triple Zero Victoria is the Victorian organisation responsible for life-saving emergency call-taking and dispatch services for people across the state. It connects callers who dial Triple Zero (000) with police, fire or ambulance assistance when there is a threat to life or property. The organisation also provides guidance on how the Triple Zero process works, including information about making an emergency call and language options for callers.

Beyond emergency operations, Triple Zero Victoria shares facts and figures about its services and explains its role, values and leadership. Its website offers ways to contact the organisation, submit feedback or commend a staff member, and request call audio or make a Freedom of Information application. It also provides burn-off and water-off notification information, publications, resources and media updates, including the I AM 000 podcast. Triple Zero Victoria recruits for call-taking and corporate roles, describing these opportunities as rewarding and connected to community service. The organisation is part of the Victorian Government and acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Traditional Custodians.
