Tripod

MGS Levice is a Slovak maker and seller of fishing rod stands, producing its tripods and four-legged stands since 2004. The company reports having made more than 4,000 units and continues to improve its designs. Its stands are built from thin-walled steel tubing, finished with black baked epoxy-polyester powder coating, with galvanically zinc-chromated adjustable sections.

The upper arm can be positioned vertically and horizontally to suit different setups. The tripod accommodates three rods, or up to five when additional holders are purchased; holders and bite alarms are not included. A four-legged version is also available, with legs spaced at 90 degrees rather than the tripod’s 120-degree arrangement.

The tripod adjusts from 68 to 100 cm in height and 130 to 195 cm in length, weighs 4 kg, and packs into a 75 cm case. MGS Levice offers spare parts, including for its earliest model, and provides a two-year warranty. Orders can be placed by phone, text message, email, or through the website’s purchase form
