WZ & PC Triton Weesp

WZ & PC Triton Weesp, also known as Triton, is a swimming and water polo club founded in 1908. It has long played a central role in swimming across the Gooi and Vechtstreek region of the Netherlands, offering activities for people of different ages and abilities.

Triton provides instruction for swimming proficiency diplomas, including levels 1, 2 and 3, as well as training for survival, ball skills, artistic swimming, snorkelling and international swimming strokes. Competitive swimming is available from age six, with training focused on the four racing strokes, starts, turns, strength and fitness. The club also offers water polo from age eight for swimmers with at least a B diploma, with youth and men’s teams.

For swimmers with disabilities, Triton runs a smaller, individually attentive training group with additional coaches. Adults and other participants can join recreational fitness swimming, where they can improve technique and conditioning at their own pace.
