Trockendock Bielefeld

Trockendock Bielefeld e.V. is a Bielefeld-based organization supporting people who want to live alcohol-free and abstinent while improving challenging personal circumstances. Through its outpatient support services, Trockendock advises and accompanies clients with essential concerns such as keeping their housing, managing household responsibilities, looking for work, dealing with public authorities, and handling finances and debt. The team also helps people understand health diagnoses, learn about treatment options, identify additional services and take initial steps toward accessing them.

The organization’s alcohol-free meeting place offers a welcoming setting to reconnect with others, experience community and take part in varied leisure activities. Its regular program includes group activities such as yoga and a women’s group, as well as outings. Trockendock Bielefeld also offers internship placements in its contact and counseling service for students and trainees.
