TrollSmarter

TrollSmarter is a small, independently run business offering precision throttle-control products for kicker motors. Its main product, the TrollSmarter Controller, helps anglers make fine speed adjustments while trolling, so they can spend less time managing the throttle and more time fishing. The system combines a wired controller with two wireless remotes and provides Manual and Hunt modes. Hunt Mode includes surge and stall functions, while Jog Mode allows quick throttle adjustments. The latest version features a soft power switch, an updated menu with adjustable settings and a return-to-defaults option, a redesigned circuit board, and an included inline disconnect with dust caps.

TrollSmarter provides motor fitment guidance, installation videos and documentation, and customer support by email or text to help customers confirm the correct kit. Steering integration options for Panther and Tailfin systems are described as coming soon; TrollSmarter states that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands. Orders typically ship within two to five business days.
