Trøndelag Hestsportsklubb

Trøndelag Hestesportsklubb (TRØN) is one of the largest equestrian clubs in the Trøndelag region of Norway. Based in Trondheim, the club aims to welcome its members and make riding accessible to people at all levels. Its sporting programme focuses especially on show jumping, the club’s largest discipline, and dressage, while activities also include eventing.

TRØN holds several competitions in show jumping and dressage each year, using the arena at Trondheim Ridesenter as its competition venue. The club also provides a riding school, with information about courses, prices, school horses, instructors, practical arrangements and registration available to participants. Its website shares news, event schedules and meeting records, and provides details for prospective members and people wishing to contact the club.

TRØN describes its mission as promoting enjoyment, development and recruitment within equestrian sport, alongside offering a strong sporting environment for riders of different abilities. The club has also expressed an ambition to help develop Bratsberg Ridesenter as a regional sports centre owned by and serving the wider community
