Trøndelag Dyrevern

Trøndelag Dyrevern is an animal welfare organisation based in Sparbu, Norway, working to protect animals and help them find safe, caring homes. Guided by the belief that every animal has inherent value, regardless of species, the organisation takes in animals in need and supports their welfare through practical care and public information. Its website features animals available for adoption, updates on successful adoptions and reunions with owners, and guidance for people considering a new pet or seeking help with a found or missing animal.

Trøndelag Dyrevern also assists with rehoming and provides information about animal welfare plans, identification and relevant laws. A chip campaign, run with participating veterinary clinics, helps owners have their animals ID-chipped. People can support the organisation by volunteering, becoming members or regular donors, contributing through Norway’s Grassroots Share scheme, or donating money and items from its wish list.

The organisation also shares educational reading, news coverage and stories about its rescue work, helping raise awareness and extend support to more animals across the region
