Trotse Kids

Trotse Kids is the child-coaching practice of Jolanda de Kok, a creative children’s coach based in Leusden and serving families in Amersfoort and the surrounding area. The practice supports sensitive children who feel insecure, struggle to express emotions, think negatively about themselves, or are affected by difficult past experiences. Coaching aims to help children feel more confident and proud of who they are, while making it easier to understand and manage their feelings.

Jolanda offers individual coaching and a small-group course called “Dit ben ik” (“This Is Me”). The five-session course is for children aged 8 to 12 and encourages self-discovery and confidence through relaxed, playful activities. Sessions may include drawing, painting, clay work, walking, stories, movement, role-play, singing, and crafts. Creative work gives children ways to express themselves without relying only on conversation. Parents and caregivers can also receive coaching, including support with their own goals for their child. Jolanda emphasizes a safe, accepting environment and tailors her approach to each child’s qualities, needs, and wishes.
