TrotTracker G3 is a GPS-based training and performance analysis app designed specifically for harness racing. Available for iPhone and Android, it uses a phone’s built-in GPS to display live pace, speed, distance and lap information without requiring external sensors or Bluetooth hardware. Trainers can start a session in guest mode without registering, or create an account to privately sync sessions and access web-based route maps, summaries and horse histories.

The app is built to make training feedback clear and useful, with smoothed live pace intended to reduce distracting GPS fluctuations, plus lap timing for structuring warm-ups, intervals and fast work. Signed-in users can review routes, inspect session distance, duration, pace and speed, and compare recent training over time. Guest session data stays on the device, while synced routes are private to the account. Location is used during active sessions to calculate training metrics, and account deletion controls are available.

TrotTracker also offers an optional arm case to position a compatible phone for viewing while driving.
