Tru-Roll Putter

Tru-Roll is a golf equipment brand known for its distinctive cylindrical-headed putters, designed to promote a smooth, immediate forward roll and more consistent distance control. The brand’s putting system aims to address common challenges with conventional flat-faced putters, including backspin, slipping, inconsistent loft caused by hand position, and loss of momentum when the club contacts the ground. Its rounded sole is designed to glide over the surface, while the TR 360 model incorporates tungsten weights at the heel and toe to improve stability on off-centre strikes.

The product range also includes a 360-degree putter, laser rangefinders for measuring distance to the pin, low-centre-of-gravity wedges and chippers for approach shots, and practice mats for developing putting feel and consistency at home. Tru-Roll recommends setting the sole flat, using a low, smooth stroke, and avoiding an exaggerated upward strike. The concept was developed by Canadian PGA professional Sheldon Long, drawing on his experience as a golfer, instructor, and club fitter.
