About T'ruah
T'ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights is a brand dedicated to promoting human rights and social justice through a Jewish lens. Committed to racial justice, T'ruah strives to bring positive change in the United States and Israel/Occupied Palestinian Territories. Their impactful work focuses on various areas, including immigration justice, democracy and voting rights, worker justice, mass incarceration, anti-Semitism, ending the occupation in Israel, and more.
T'ruah offers a range of programs and opportunities for engagement. Their Summer Fellowship program allows select rabbinical and cantorial students to spend nine weeks working with human rights and social justice organizations. Participants gain knowledge about human rights in Jewish text and tradition and develop the skills to become leaders in their own communities.
Additionally, T'ruah offers the Year-in-Israel Program and Israel Fellowship, providing immersive experiences and West Bank tours. To get involved, individuals can attend events, take action, join the Shofar Society, or stay updated with the latest news and initiatives. T'ruah also provides resources on topics such as holidays and weekly parshah for those seeking moral guidance.
