True Hockey

True Hockey is a private hockey school based in Astana, Kazakhstan, offering training for children from age three through advanced and professional levels. The school provides group and individual sessions led by experienced coaches with sports-related education and hockey experience. Small groups of up to 12 children are matched to age and ability, with programs for beginners, skaters, advanced players, and candidates seeking selection for the children’s HC Kings team.

Training combines on-ice practice with general physical conditioning. Depending on the group, sessions develop skating, puck control, shooting, hockey skills, teamwork, and readiness for competitive play. Some programs also include in-school tournaments, events, and master classes with professional players. True Hockey organizes and participates in tournaments to give players practical experience and opportunities to improve.

Children can begin with an individual trial session that introduces them to the ice and equipment, followed by feedback for parents. The school provides hockey gear for the trial and operates at several Astana locations.
