What is TrueNorth Medical Physics? That’s a good question. One we’ve asked ourselves a lot. We can tell you easily WHY there is a TrueNorth Medical Physics. We built our company through the growth of our frustrations with the biggest issues in our industry – the corporate hoo-hah and blah-blah. Our origin story begins as a group of medical physicists that were part of a much larger company, doing excellent work across the U.S., and making profit for our corporate overlords while building good relationships everywhere we went. Then one day that company suddenly decided for one of the usual corporate reasons (you know: mergers, streamlining, making moves to justify a corner office) that they were done with us. As a group we decided that we still had more to give to medical physics and thought we could do it in a better way. TrueNorth was born. And over time we realized that like a compass pointing “True North,” our company was charting a better way for our industry, serving as an example of a better way to do things. A way that manages to be client-focused, giving customers exactly what they need without nickel and diming them to death. A way that manages to also be team-focused, bringing in people excited to be part of an independent company and helping them discover the best way to find what they’re looking for in a career. A way that manages to make us feel good about what we’re doing and allows us to have a little fun along the way. Maybe that doesn’t fully answer the question, “What is TrueNorth Medical Physics?,” but we hope it’s a start. To fully answer the question, keep following us. Read our posts. About TrueNorth Medical Physics
TrueNorth Medical Physics is an independent medical physics company owned and operated by physicists. It partners with healthcare clinics and organizations to deliver customized support for radiation oncology and other medical physics needs, rather than relying on cookie-cutter programs.
