TrueNorth Oregon, formerly Oregon Mennonite Residential Services, provides residential and support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Its work focuses on helping individuals live, grow, and thrive in their communities through safe housing, individualized support, and opportunities for meaningful connection.

The organization offers more than a dozen homes designed or adapted to meet residents’ needs. Many were newly built or remodeled with funding from Oregon Housing and Community Services. Alongside residential services, TrueNorth provides other support services intended to build relationships and help each person pursue opportunities to thrive.

Qualified caregivers support residents’ health and safety, with ongoing staff training and professional development. Cross-training helps employees develop skills to provide comprehensive support, including for people with complex needs. TrueNorth also emphasizes social activities and community integration, encouraging individuals to participate in the places where they live.
