The Trust for the Americas is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Organization of American States (OAS). Established in 1997, our mission is to promote social and economic inclusion for vulnerable communities in the Americas through partnerships with the public, private, and non-profit sectors. We believe in creating educational and economic opportunities, as well as promoting government accountability and transparency.

With our unique alliance with the OAS, we have access to decision makers within the region, allowing us to create strong networks across member states and the private sector. Over the years, we have implemented projects in 24 countries and collaborated with over 1,000 organizations in the region. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to address the challenges faced by our communities and promote cooperation for sustainable results.

Our programs and initiatives span across 22 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our headquarters are located in Washington, D. C., and we also have legal presence in Colombia and Canada.
