About U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol
The U. S. Cotton Trust Protocol, launched in 2020, aims to set a new standard in sustainably grown cotton.
This program is dedicated to ensuring that cotton production contributes to the protection and preservation of the planet by utilizing the most sustainable and responsible techniques. With a mission to bring quantifiable and verifiable goals and measurement to key sustainability metrics, the Trust Protocol strives for transparency and continuous improvement in areas such as land use, water management, greenhouse gas emissions, and more. As the only system that offers article-level supply chain transparency, it provides consumers with the ability to trace the journey of the cotton they purchase.
By collecting data and providing benchmarking capabilities, the Trust Protocol helps grower members identify areas for improvement in their operations. Accredited by and aligned with recognized sustainable organizations and initiatives, the Trust Protocol is committed to creating a resilient cotton industry and promoting responsible consumption and production
