In collaboration with local communities, Trygg Trafikk focuses on traffic education, information, and guidance to create safe school and work routes, as well as secure neighborhoods. They provide assistance with developing traffic safety plans for municipalities, offer advice and guidance to associations and community actions, conduct training sessions for childcare and school staff, and promote the correct child safety measures in vehicles.

Additionally, they offer newsletters, updated teaching materials for childcare centers and schools, and the certified Traffic Safe Municipality program. To support Trygg Trafikk, you can become a member for an annual fee of 2,500 NOK. However, if you would like to contribute more to their cause, any additional donations will be greatly appreciated and processed as part of your membership fee
