ResidentAI is a household AI designed to simplify the day-to-day coordination of running a home while keeping family data private. Unlike services that rely on sending household routines and information to external servers, ResidentAI runs on a dedicated device in the home, with data kept local. The system supports scheduling, vendor emails, household tasks, and coordination among family members, bringing calendars and preferences together in one household assistant.

ResidentAI offers role-based access for different family members, built-in privacy protection that removes personal information before any cloud AI is consulted, and an audit log to help users track actions. Every real-world action requires household approval, so users remain in control. The company says 80% of tasks run entirely on the device, allowing the assistant to continue working when the internet is unavailable. ResidentAI is currently presented as a forthcoming product, with early access available by waitlist. Its aim is to offer the convenience of a smart household assistant without requiring families to give up control of their personal information.
