Shredder

Shredder is a free social app designed to help people spend less time scrolling and more time enjoying outdoor activities with others. Built by riders, the platform brings together skiers and snowboarders, while also welcoming people who surf, hike, mountain bike, and take part in other water sports. Users can track their sessions and stats, connect with local people at a similar skill level, find ski buddies, and coordinate carpools. The app also gives riders a way to share their mountain adventures and arrange real-world meetups with others heading out.

Shredder aims to turn online connections into opportunities to get outside, making it easier to find companions for a day on the slopes or another outdoor outing. It is available to download on iPhone and Android, and the company says its core features are free to use, with no subscription required to track sessions or find people. Shredder positions itself as a practical social platform for outdoor enthusiasts who want to meet up, be active, and share the experience.
