Tesseract is an online directory and reference platform that presents listings for vendors operating across multiple regions. Its pages organize vendor profiles alongside figures such as reported sales, customer reviews, ratings, operating cut-off times, and estimated start dates. Visitors can browse or sort listings using options including sales, reviews, ratings, and age, and the site also provides links to a Matrix community and other external resources.

Tesseract describes itself as informational and research-focused, stating that it does not host, sell, distribute, endorse, or facilitate the products or activities listed. The site places responsibility for following applicable laws on its users and disclaims liability for misuse of its information. Its interface includes notices warning about imitation websites and urging visitors to check the web address.

The scraped content includes listings that appear to cover controlled or potentially illegal substances, as well as vendor status labels and product-category symbols. Accordingly, the platform is best characterized as a directory that aggregates third-party vendor information, rather than as a retailer or service provider offering those products directly
