About Tanzania Society of Pediatric Nurses
The Tanzania Society of Pediatric Nurses (TSPN) is a vital association dedicated to enhancing child health and wellbeing across Tanzania, where over 45% of the population is comprised of children under 15 years of age. Founded by pediatric nurses from both the mainland and Zanzibar, TSPN aims to create a robust multisectoral network that includes healthcare providers and key stakeholders invested in pediatric health. The organization focuses on clinical and community services, conducting research, and organizing scientific conferences to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
TSPN's mission is to mobilize resources in partnership with the Tanzanian government and other child-focused entities to establish a safe and nurturing environment for children. Their vision is a Tanzania where all children and adolescents thrive in health and wellbeing. Through its proactive projects and programs, TSPN is committed to making a significant impact on the lives of Tanzanian children.
