TSP Pilot is an independent commercial service operated by JSR Consulting LLC that provides informational and educational resources for people managing a Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). It is not affiliated with the TSP, any U.S. government agency, or the uniformed military services, and it does not access members’ accounts, move their money, or provide individual investment advice.

The service offers Conservative and Aggressive model portfolios, showing how allocations are divided among the G, F, C, S, and I funds. Members receive market analysis and updates every two weeks, with email or text alerts when new commentary is available. Each update explains market conditions, whether the model allocations have changed, and the reasoning behind the current fund mix. Subscribers review the models and decide for themselves whether to make changes through TSP.gov.

TSP Pilot also publishes historical model performance, with published history dating back to 2004, and explains its calculation methods. Membership includes both portfolio models and commentary, with a 14-day free trial followed by monthly or annual pricing.
