About TSSF
TSSF, also known as the Tunisian Society for Sustainable Fisheries, is a non-governmental organization that was established on July 27, 2017. Located in Chebba Mahdia, Tunisia, TSSF has a vision of strengthening the skills of fishermen for better organization and effective participation in the management of fishing resources. The main objectives of TSSF are to contribute to the formation of professional structures that provide services to fishermen and co-manage fisheries resources, to promote the development of the fisheries sector through projects that adopt the principles of the ecosystem approach in fisheries management, and to support the implementation of international directives focused on improving the governance of the sector, preserving fishery resources, and ensuring a decent life for marine fishermen.
